I have been doing my own J-cards for some years. I started drawing a template in Macromedia Freehand (which although outdated it’s one of the best design software out there). I have done lots of different J-cards for my kids to help them identify their own cassettes, so they can listen to whatever one when they want, without my help:
Make and print a cover for a cassette tape using this template. We always effort to show a picture with HD resolution or at least with perfect images. 38 Creative Cassette J Card Template A4 in Word by Cassette J Card Template A4 can be beneficial inspiration for those who seek an image according specific categories, you can find it in this site. J-Card and O-Card Design Templates The traditional packaging for a cassette is a hard plastic box (Norelco box) with inserted printed album art. Our variety of templates allow you to create a unique package for your cassette release. We’ve also re-introduced the O-Card, the common packaging for a “Cassingle.”.
These are some of the custom J-cards I’ve made to my youngest son (3 yr old now). As you can see, most are from the cartoons he like.
I have my own templates, but I understand that Freehand is not and easy to use software for everybody (it’s a professional grade design software), so I thought it would be nice if I could make one for the worldwide known MS Word, and I finally did. And I’m giving it to you now for free.
And here you can see some custom stickers I’ve made to my oldest son (8 yr old now). Some have 3-4 years now; some are recent (like the one of Police and Linking Park).

To use it you just need your own MS Word, version 2007 or newer, because it’s not a .doc but a .docx document. It contains a J-card and two different inner stickers with rounded holes or a window.
It’s very easy to use but you need at least a basic knowledge of Word. You can add your own text and an image.

[UPDATE 2018-01-29] There’s a new version of the J-card with more options. See it here.I’ll be glad if you leave your comments here or in this thread at Stereo2Go. Any feedback is welcomed.

Generate A Custom Printing Template
If you already have your ID card as a JPG or PNG image you can use our ID Card Printing Tool to generate a PDF with your ID cards placed in the correct spots for printing. It's easy to use, includes printing instructions, and runs entirely on your computer in your web browser for maximum security.
Printer Settings
For Epson Printers:
Set Paper Size to 'A4' (not borderless) and Set Print Media to 'CD/DVD'
For Canon G Tray Printers:
Focus on the family chronicles of narnia free. Set Paper Size to 'Disc Tray G' and Set Print Media to 'Other Papers/Printable Disc'
For Canon J/K/M Tray Printers:
Set Paper Size to 'Disc Tray J/K/M' and Set Print Media to 'Other Papers/Printable Disc'. When using most Canon J/K/M printers, you should not have the tray in the printer when you press print for the first time. Instead, keep the door for the tray closed and print from your computer (selecting the correct print settings), the printer will then make noise for a few moments, eventually it will stop and it will tell you on the screen to open the tray slot door and insert the tray, then press a button on the printer to continue printing.
If you're using the K Tray and a Canon Pro-100 printer, and if you can see both of these options, please choose 'Printable Disc (Recommended)' instead of 'Printable Disc (Other)'.
For Canon MP Tray Printers:
Set Paper Size to '120x120mm' OR 'Multi Purpose Tray' (whichever option you have) and Set Feed From to 'CD-DVD Tray'. Set Media Type to 'Disc'. When using Canon printers that use the MP tray, you should not have the tray in the printer when you press print for the first time. Instead, keep the door for the tray closed and print from your computer (selecting the correct print settings), the printer will then make noise for a few moments, eventually it will stop and it will tell you on the screen to insert the tray, then press a button on the printer to continue printing. Canon Notes:
'Support Code 1001' error
Support Code 1001 means the printer is unable to find the tray. The first thing to check is if there are 2 metal squares on the tray. If one or both of the squares is missing, this is your problem. As a temporary fix you can put aluminum foil where the square was. To avoid damage to your printer we do recommend a more permanent fix or replacement of the tray.
If both squares are intact, you may need to try pushing the tray further in before printing. To do this, push the tray in as far as it will go without and force. When the tray stops push with a small amount of force to push the tray another 1/2' inch (1 cm). This will place the tray under the rollers that move the tray and should make it easier for the printer to pull the tray in.
Ink Doesn't Dry or Smears
The most common reason for this problem is that plain PVC cards are being used instead of Inkjet PVC Cards.
Some higher-end printers (such as the Epson SureColor P600) use 'Matte Black' ink - this ink will not dry properly even on inkjet PVC cards. When you print there should be a setting to change to use 'Photo Black' instead.
